Welcome to ARKATRAZ III
A community of survivors dedicated to a peaceful & cooperative PvE survival experience. Where folks can explore, tame, build, & enjoy ARK without the fear of losing everything to PvP. We will be surviving the new ARK: SURVIVAL ASCENDED remaster starting immediately on its release in late October 2023, & will look to fully change to ARK 2 shortly after its release, tentatively scheduled for late 2024. Once ARK 2 has been released we will evaluate the community's interest in both ASA & ARK 2. We will not leave ASA until we are confident & comfortable in ARK 2.
Many of our rates & settings have been slightly adjusted to help ease the grind, while not being able to tame & build everything immediately. Survivors will still need to dedicate time & effort, nothing is instant.
Our Admins, known as Overseer Admins, are primarily here to help protect survivors from the game (getting ARK'd), but not from themselves.
A variety of events take place in our community. Everything from tame battles, photo contests, treasure hunts, & more... fabulous prizes for our winners!!!
Monthly updates from the Overseer Admins including surveys for everyone to help shape the future of the community, including an anonymous feedback form.
Other Quality-Of-Life (QOL) improvements have been made to ease our survival grind. Kibble in ringed drops, skins in white drops, always being able to pick up our structures, longer fuel burn time, & more.
Mods will be considered & added case by case. Community votes will decide which mods are added.

Additional Quality-Of-Life (QOL) changes have been made to crafting & drops to make things more accessible. We aim to make ARK a project, but not a job.

We've played on too many servers that eventually went sour either from admins that did too much (or too little), or a community that slowed down & imploded.
